Thanks for visiting our Wiki! Its pages are full of information for both current students and alumni. If you register, you will be able to add your own pages by following the directions in the next paragraph. You don't have to register to browse many of the pages, but some are open only to registered users because their content is allowed to be viewed only by members of the college community. To view those pages, or to add your own pages, you must become a member of the wiki by visiting the PLL (link on left) and clicking on the Wiki tab near the top of the page. Your username should be your own name without spaces and with mixed lower and upper case (e.g., MaryJones) and your password should be one you'll remember. Once logged in, you can create pages as well as read all pages on the site.

You make your first wiki page when you first login. After registering, you can make your first Wiki page, which is based on your WikiName. Your UserSettings page appears. It is through this page that you make your first Wiki page. First, click on your WikiName. You see it in two places, at the end of the menu line (You are JoeJones.) and above your email address box (Hello, JoeJones!). When you click on your WikiName, a new page opens containing an empty text entry box. In this box you can enter anything about yourself that you would like others to know, like your name, year in college (or year of graduation), and major interests. You can come back later and add new things as you see fit, even including fancy text formatting and pictures as discussed in the FormattingRules document. Last, click on the Store button at the bottom when done. Your first Wiki page has been saved! It appears in the PageIndex and can be viewed by anyone visiting the Wiki. In the future you can add to your page by double-clicking anywhere in the text while viewing it. You can find further information on ways to use a wiki page in the HowToWiki document.
